# Vara SaaS Documentation

**Vara SaaS** is a fast, accessible WordPress theme built for SaaS companies, product teams, and agencies that want to ship a marketing site quickly without fighting a page builder.

It is a **classic PHP theme**, which means it stays fast and predictable, but it is designed to hand the canvas over to Elementor the moment you open a page. The theme owns your header, footer, typography, colors, blog layouts, and accessibility. Elementor owns your page content.

> **[New here?](/introduction/installation.md)**
>
> Install the theme and go from zero to a full site in about ten minutes.

> **[Set up in one go](/introduction/setup-wizard.md)**
>
> The Setup Wizard installs Elementor and imports four finished pages for you.

> **[Something's wrong](/troubleshooting/index.md)**

## What Vara SaaS actually is

Vara SaaS is a hybrid theme built for total workflow freedom, giving you clean, fast semantic HTML without forcing you into rigid full-site editing or heavy page-builder bloat.

**1. The theme owns the frame**

The site header, navigation, footer, brand colors, base typography, blog and archive layouts, table of contents, reading time, breadcrumbs, and dark mode are all theme features you configure from **Appearance → Customize → Vara SaaS**.

**2. Your page builder owns the page**

Open any page in Elementor and the theme steps completely out of the way — no container, no title, no sidebar. Your layout runs edge to edge, exactly as designed.

**3. Gutenberg still works**

`theme.json` feeds the block editor the same nine-color palette, two font families, and ten type sizes the front end uses, so blocks you build in the editor look like the rest of the site.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Vara SaaS includes every feature upfront—no Pro version, no license keys, and no paywalls. All documentation guidelines reflect genuine theme behavior designed to give you the best possible development experience.

## Where to go next

> **I've never used Vara SaaS**
>
> Start with [Installation](/introduction/installation.md), then run the [Setup Wizard](/introduction/setup-wizard.md). That single flow gets you to a finished, editable site. Upload your logo, customize the colors. There you go, your website is ready.

> **I want to understand the design**
>
> Read [What's included](/introduction/whats-included.md) for a feature-by-feature breakdown, and [How the theme works](/introduction/how-it-works.md) for the architecture.

> **I want to change how it looks**
>
> Go to [Customizer tour](/customization/customizer-tour.md), then work through [Colors](/getting-started/colors.md), [Typography](/getting-started/typography.md), and [Layout settings](/customization/layout-settings.md).

> **I'm a developer**
>
> The [For developers](/developers/child-themes.md) section has child themes, template overrides, and the full hook and filter reference.

## Documentation conventions

Throughout these docs you'll see three callout types. They matter - please read them.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Note** — background information or a clarification you can safely skim.

> [!TIP]
>
> **Tip** — a faster or cleaner way to do something. Safe to ignore if you're in a hurry.

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Warning** — an action that overwrites data, removes content, or is hard to undo. Read these.

**About the screenshots**

This documentation ships with placeholders where screenshots and images belong. Each one is
marked with a `Screenshot:` label and a predictable file path under `/images/`. Replace the file
at that path and the image updates everywhere it is referenced.
