Demo pages

What is in each of the four imported Elementor layouts, and how to turn them into your own site. Screenshot: the four imported demo pages listed in the WordPress pages list

The four pages

Plus Blog at /blog/, which has no Elementor layout — it renders the theme’s own blog index.

Where the layouts live

Each page is stored as a raw Elementor page document inside the theme:
These are not Elementor library templates. They are not registered in Templates → My Templates, and they will not appear there. The demo import reads them directly and writes their content into each page’s Elementor data.
That also means: once imported, the pages are ordinary Elementor pages. You edit them like any page you build yourself. There is nothing to unlock and nothing stays linked to the theme.

Importing them

Appearance → Vara SaaS Setup → Step 2 → Import demo content See Setup wizard and Demo content for what else the import changes.
Re-running the import overwrites the Elementor content of all four pages. Any design work you’ve done on them is lost. Back up first, or save your work as an Elementor template.

Editing the Home page

1

Open the page

Pages → Home → Edit with Elementor.
2

Edit the structure

Sections are standard Elementor containers. Add, remove, reorder, and duplicate freely.
3

Replace all the copy

Every word is placeholder marketing text for a fictional product. Search the site for it before launch.
4

Set your colors

Your Customizer brand colors are already applied through Elementor’s global palette. Change them in the Customizer, not here.
5

Save

The five Home sections

The feature cards contain placeholder copy that repeats. Two of the four cards share the same description text. Treat every line as a draft to rewrite, not as a starting point to keep.

Editing the About and Services pages

Both follow the same pattern — a series of sections with headings, body copy, and imagery.
The demo copy is enthusiastic third-person marketing prose. Your own voice will almost certainly differ. Rewrite rather than tweak.
Demo images are placeholder stock. Replace them with product screenshots, your team, or your workspace.
The Services layout is a natural fit for a pricing or plans page if you do not want the Home pricing section.

The Contact page

The Contact page ships with a broken form. It contains a Contact Form 7 shortcode with a fixed form ID — b73d75a — that was valid only on the original author’s site. On your install that ID does not exist, so the form will not render.
Fix it with these steps:
  1. Install and activate Contact Form 7
  2. Create a form at Contact → Contact Forms
  3. Set your receiving email and test that delivery works
  4. Open the Contact page in Elementor
  5. Replace the broken widget with a Contact Form 7 widget, selecting your new form
Full instructions: Contact Form 7.

Saving your work as a template

Once you have customized a page, save it so you can reuse it.
1

Right-click the page in the Navigator panel

2

Save as template

Give it a name and save it to My Templates.
3

Reuse it

Create a new page, open Elementor, and insert your saved template from the folder panel.

What is not in the demo

Some things people expect that are not here.
The Blog page is empty. You will need to write posts yourself. The theme’s blog templates are designed to look good with real content from the first post.
Nothing shop-related ships with the theme.
Only Home, About, Services, and Contact. Pricing, FAQ, legal pages, and blog archives are yours to build.

Checking for leftover demo text

Before you launch, search your site for the demo strings.
1

Search WordPress content

Posts → All Posts and Pages → All Pages, and use the search box for the fictional product name.
2

Check Elementor content

Elementor layouts store text in post meta, so a WordPress content search may miss it. Search inside each page in the Elementor editor instead.
3

Check the footer and menus

Placeholder links often survive in the footer columns and header CTAs. See Footer settings and Layout settings.
4

Check the blog hero

The default hero tagline references infrastructure engineering. Change Settings → General → Tagline.
This is item 1 on the launch checklist.
